Timbaland looked baked out of his mind. Overall this raw wasn't as horrible as the past two weeks worth. Jericho outside the arena was great. McMahon and Shawn was a very good segment as well. McMahon going slight heel worked to get the crowd excited for Bret Hart and plus we get more build towards Shawn vs. Taker. Matches weren't really anything to bust a nut over but they were ok enough, got the respective stories over. I wonnder if Mark Henry's injury is work or legit. Definite improvement over the past two weeks (Although they could have showed a turd for two hours and it would have been better than the past two weeks of raw)
it still wasn't that good, but it was the best Raw in a while. The Vince segment was the highlight, IMO. it really got things exciting starting the rivalry, and the announcers hyped the crap out of him. the rest of the show was boring. next week should be good, I'm hoping the Jericho storyline will continue past the 4th.
Gary Khular sent the following: Believe it or not I was timing the matches on last night's Raw and the show had just over 16 minutes of actual wrestling
I enjoyed Raw not much on the wrestling front like. But Vince and Shawn's promo was pure gold and worth watching just for that and really hyped Brett next week. Jericho was awesome as usual and IL be a bit gutted when he isn't on Raw anymore. I like him drifting between SD and Raw. Glad Cena didn't get the title back he kinda made Sheamus look a bit weak in the match but in the end Sheamus came out on top and looked good. The 4Th looks like it's gonna be pretty stacked and I'm looking forward to it. If anything comes out of TNA going up against Raw i hope it's Raw getting the arses in gear in 2010 and making the show better than we have been getting as of late. Anyhoo not a bad show this week IMO
The Vince promo was the only thing that actually caught my attention enough to not channel surf during.
Timbaland was blazed out of his fuckin mind.
LOL @ them degrading Gail Kim.
The DX duct tape segment was pretty funny.
I have really mixed reactions on the Miz/Kofi thing. At first I was honestly pretty happy to see Kofi's push slowing (I know that sounds fucked up but I really could care less about him). Miz definitely needs a face contender for that belt as he's doing less with it than Kofi did in his first IC title reign. I was more leaning towards Bourne stepping up towards it but whatever.
But to have Kofi essentially squash Miz....TWICE! REALLY!? I understand Kofi has been elevated on the card seemingly but surely they could have done something else than making Miz look like shit.
This Orton/Kofi feud is running off no steam at all at the moment and I'm really not sure why the hell we're supposed to believe these two guys still want to kill each other. The Legacy thing last night was like a homo-erotic break up tease.
Cena/Sheamus match was nothing to write home about, nowhere near enough time. And here's the problem, yeah they made Sheamus look strong with the beat down (which should have been a lot more brutal than the 98 millionth pump kick to Cena) but Cena essentially beat his ass in less than 10 minutes. Sheamus was beat if not for the DQ.
Jericho outside the arena was priceless...Y2J chants all through the DX match. Once again proving that Jericho is WWE's crown jewel.
Agreed with all that especially the Kofi/Orton. I was kinda expecting Vince to swerve or to through a curve ball for some reason and right when he was going to say "Bret Hart" say HULK HOGAN or THE ROCK, instead. That'd be lol.
