I only played a ton of Mafia games on a different forum, with different kind of rules tbf, but still... and in my experience it happens way too often that Town bites itself in the butt, because too many players were set on "It should be this amount of Mafia, because this is how it's usually done". I for one think, especially early on, you should always expect at least one more Mafia than "the usual", even if it's just a case of better being safe than sorry.

Even if a game has bastard roles involved. If there isn't balance, then people will not want to actually play in that host's game again. I would not expect Barry to create a game where town is only 50%.
