I may have actually started watching like late late 2017 because I remember watching the 2018 Rumble. But yeah NXT was the big thing that really hooked me in. I also had WWE 2k16 which got me intrigued before that.

It was actually a funny realization for me when I started watching back in 2018 bc I was like damn I gotta find a stream and then it dawned on me I didn't have to ask and be told by my mom to use her credit card, I could just buy it myself like a real adult

Honestly the exact same with me I just had the realization that I could simply subscribe to the Network on my own and the rest was history

Nakamura , revival and Aleister black and Asuka were very cool in NXT for me

I remember my brother wanted to watch SummerSlam 2014 for his birthday present and my mom was gonna pay $60 for it on PPV but this was after the network debuted so all the providers took them off on protest so we could only do the network, but they had a 6 month commitment...which ended up being $60 but for 6 shows instead of 1 and my mom said no, I was so mad
