As a little kid, I remember this magazine i got had the address to the White House lol I was maybe 11 or 12 idk, but I wrote a letter telling Bush I thought he was doing a great job. Doubt he ever even read it. But I got a letter and photo of him and his wife back a little bit better. :lol I thought that was so cool.

Yeah for me I was in high school when I realized I didn't hate gay people and maybe wasn't a Christian and then I realized i hadn't heard any other Republican policy so the social stuff is what pulled me. I don't think I would consider anything that isn't "social politics" any sort of non-negotiable, we can talk policy that doesn't violate human rights all day, maybe no minimum wage is actually a good move, I'd hear that out. What I won't hear out is not letting consenting adults marry each other

I don’t necessarily believe in playing blame games myself, but I think things sometimes just happen and it’s better to work together to resolve things after things happen but I do think Bill should’ve did more about Osama bin Laden considering they attacked the trade centers in 1994 and we had intelligence as far back as 98 that they were gonna try again and I know Bush had the same Intel and he also probably should’ve done more, but Clinton had nearly 6 years to try to go and find him or do something about him and I don’t know it’s weird that it rarely ever gets really brought up but like I said at the end of the day, no one is responsible for 911 outside of Osama so I don’t put that on Bill Clinton either.
the thing Bill always got blamed for was the housing crisis not 9/11 fwiw, that was just the Muslims and so they had to be stopped as far as my narratives seemed at the time

Like I ended up questioning things later on, but I still think he's not a bad person or anything of that nature. I'd honestly sit down and have a talk with him, probably about sports or something. He seems like he would be a friendly guy.

I think we actually got that pic back from Bush when we wrote to him as a class when I was like 8? Well basically the teacher wrote a letter and we just gave her dumb ideas to tell him lol maybe it was a standard response to kids they had, it would make sense with the no child left behind gimmick

He'll force the dragon ball forum to let you back if you just turn in Grim to whatever he renames ICE to when they start going after citizens born here (well, more of those)

I agree and thankfully, for the most part outside of a few radicals most of the GOP as abandoned, worrying about gay marriage. At least by law. They can think whatever they want personally as long as the law is clear that they can do what they want.
