AEW Dynamite - August 27th, 2025
After a short video recapping the scenes of Forbidden Door, we cut straight to the 2300 arena, where we see Brodido already making their entrance, before we are welcomed by Excalibur, Taz, and Tony Schiavone!
Match #1
Non-Title Tag Team Match
Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) vs Bryan Keith and Big Bill
Bandido and Bryan Keith start. They circle, Keith throwing some low kicks. Bandido cartwheels away, then connects with a quick arm drag. Keith pops up annoyed, rushes, but gets caught with a springboard arm drag. Bandido poses, crowd cheers. Keith tags Big Bill, who steps in and immediately points at Brody King. The crowd buzzes. Brody tags in, and the two giants meet center ring. Collar-and-elbow tie-up — both men shove each other back. They collide with shoulder tackles, neither budging, until Brody explodes with a running crossbody that knocks Bill down! The crowd erupts. Brody tags Bandido back in. Brody whips Bandido into the corner with a big splash, followed by a Bandido dropkick on Bill. Bandido goes to the top for a springboard, but Keith shoves him mid-jump, sending him crashing. The ref doesn’t see it. Bill capitalizes with a huge big boot, nearly taking Bandido’s head off. Tag to Keith, who methodically stomps Bandido, talking trash. He plants him with a spinebuster for a near fall. Quick tags between Keith and Bill — they cut the ring in half, isolating Bandido. Bill presses Bandido overhead and slams him down hard. Keith follows with stiff forearms, then a snap suplex. Every time Bandido tries to escape, Keith drags him back. The crowd rallies behind Bandido with claps. Keith goes for a suplex again, but Bandido flips out and hits a tilt-a-whirl DDT! Both men are down. Bandido crawls, dives — hot tag to Brody King! Brody charges in like a wrecking ball: lariat to Keith, lariat to Bill. He crushes Keith in the corner with a running splash, then cannonballs into him. The crowd is on fire. Big Bill charges, but Brody sidesteps and dumps him over the ropes. Bandido recovers and springboard moonsaults onto Big Bill on the outside. Huge pop! Back inside, Keith throws desperate forearms at Brody, but Brody just absorbs them, fires back with a devastating discus lariat that flips Keith. Brody covers — 1, 2, Bill breaks it up! Bandido leaps in, hitting a handspring cutter on Bill, sending him rolling back outside. Brody hoists Keith up in a powerbomb position. Bandido climbs to the top rope. The crowd rises as Brody slams Keith down with a sit-out powerbomb, and Bandido comes crashing down with a frog splash at the same time. The referee counts: 1… 2… 3!
Winners: Brodido (Brody King & Bandido) - 12:45
Excalibur:
“What a victory for Brodido tonight! Brody King and Bandido proving they’re a force to be reckoned with! Suddenly, the crowd erupts in boos as FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) hit the ring from behind, blindsiding Brody King and Bandido with clubs to the back
Tony Schiavone:
“Oh, come on! What’s this about? FTR ambushing Brodido after a hard-fought match!”
Dax hammers Bandido with right hands while Cash stomps down Brody King. They hit Bandido with the Shatter Machine in the middle of the ring.
Taz:
“Classic FTR — they saw an opening, they’re making a statement!”
FTR turn their attention to Brody, setting up to double-team him. The crowd suddenly erupts as familiar music hits —
Excalibur:
“Wait a minute! No way! IT’S COPE AND CHRISTIAN!”
The arena explodes as Adam Copeland and Christian Cage charge down the ramp together! FTR freeze, shocked, then try to bail, but Edge and Christian slide in fast.
Cope spears Cash Wheeler out of his boots! Christian catches Dax with a Killswitch to a massive pop.
Excalibur:
“Listen to this crowd! FTR have been wiped out!”
Brody and Bandido stagger back to their feet, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Cope and Christian. The four men stare down at the retreating FTR, who regroup on the ramp, furious.
Tony:
“What a moment — FTR thought they had made a statement, but instead, they’ve started a war!”
----------------------------------------------------------
We then cut backstage to see the Death Riders!
Moxley steps forward, pacing, speaking with that trademark gravelly fire.
Jon Moxley:
“Yeah, here’s the deal. We’re not here to sit in the back and play politics. We’re not here to collect paychecks and shake hands. We’re here to fight. That’s what the Death Riders do — fight until somebody can’t get up. And right now… I’m in the mood for a fight.”
Moxley looks directly into the camera, intense.
Jon Moxley:
“So here’s the challenge: I don’t care who you are, I don’t care what you’ve done, I don’t care if you’ve got a shiny belt or if you just crawled in off the street — ANY two AEW wrestlers that got the guts, lace up your boots and meet us in that ring tonight. And when you do… we’ll show you what happens when you step into the deep water with us.”
Claudio steps forward, calm but menacing.
Claudio Castagnoli:
“We’re not hard to find. You want to test yourself against the strongest, the sharpest, the most dangerous unit in professional wrestling? Be our guest. Just don’t expect to walk away the same.”
Yuta smirks, leaning into the camera.
Wheeler Yuta:
“Two men, one ring. Doesn’t matter who you are. We’re ready — are you?”
Marina Shafir stares coldly, then finally speaks quietly but firmly.
Marina Shafir:
“Pain is inevitable. Tonight, someone learns that lesson.”
Moxley steps back in, pointing at the camera one last time.
Jon Moxley:
“Clock’s ticking. Who’s it gonna be?”
Excalibur (voiceover):
“The Death Riders throwing down the gauntlet! An open challenge to ANY two wrestlers here in AEW tonight!”
----------------------------------------------------------
We then get a small hype video of what to expect for tonight, including:
Kenny Omega vs Josh Alexander
Kris Statlander vs Billie Starkz
----------------------------------------------------------
We then cut to MJF, who is sitting in his private jet!
MJF:
"Y’know, I’ve been hearing a lot of noise ever since Forbidden Door. A lot of people running their mouths, saying ‘Oh, Adam Page beat MJF, Hangman got the best of him, maybe MJF’s not who he says he is anymore.’
Let me make one thing crystal clear: that loss was a fluke. You hear me? A fluke. Hangman got lucky. Right place, right time, one mistake on my end, and he squeaks by with a win. Congratulations, cowboy, you won the lottery. But let’s not kid ourselves—one lucky shot doesn’t erase the fact that I am the generational talent, I am the guy who carries this company on his back, and without me, AEW is just a bunch of bingo hall losers cosplaying as wrestlers.
But since Forbidden Door, I’ve had some time to think. And there’s been one loud, obnoxious voice in particular that’s been getting under my skin—Mark Briscoe. Yeah, that hillbilly with the chicken-farmer accent who thinks just because he’s been bleeding buckets for twenty years, he can stand toe-to-toe with me. Mark, I’ve heard the garbage you’ve been spewing, and it made me realize something: you don’t respect me. None of you people do.
So here’s what I’m gonna do: I’m gonna shut you up, once and for all. I’m gonna drag you into a match where there’s nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, no lucky punches, no flukes. At All Out, Mark Briscoe, I’m challenging you… to a Dog Collar Match.
That’s right, Mark. You want to talk about toughness? You want to talk about grit? Let’s see how tough you are when that steel chain is wrapped around your throat, when every ounce of air leaves your lungs, and when the blood runs down your face courtesy of Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
At All Out, the world will be reminded of who I am. I am better than you… and you know it."
----------------------------------------------------------
[Camera cuts backstage. Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight are standing in front of the AEW backdrop. Knight is fired up, bouncing on his feet, while “Speedball” Mike Bailey has his usual calm but intense demeanor.]
Kevin Knight:
“Open challenge, huh? Moxley, Claudio, Yuta — the Death Riders. Y’all think you can just walk around here, beating people down, running through anybody who steps up? Well, you ain’t run into us yet.”
Mike Bailey:
“Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli… you call yourselves fighters. You call yourselves killers. But what happens when you step into the ring with a man who doesn’t stop striking… and a man who doesn’t stop flying? You’re gonna find out you can’t ground Speedball, and you sure as hell can’t clip the wings of Kevin Knight.”
Kevin Knight:
“Facts. Because me and Mike? We’re not afraid of the Death Riders. We’ve faced the best, we’ve beaten the odds, and now we’re coming straight for you. You want to test how tough you are? You want to make an example? Well, we’re here to show the whole world that JetSpeed wasn’t the only team you couldn’t handle.”
Mike Bailey:
“So at Dynamite, Collision, Rampage, pay-per-view, wherever you want it… we’ll answer that open challenge. Death Riders versus Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight. And when the dust settles, we’ll be the ones standing.”
[Bailey gives a calm smile, Knight points at the camera with intensity.]
Kevin Knight:
“See you out there.”
[They bump fists and walk off, leaving the camera lingering on their confidence.]

[Kenny Omega is standing in the ring after his victory, catching his breath, wiping sweat from his brow, when suddenly—]
♫ Don Callis’s theme hits ♫
Excalibur:
“Oh, wait a minute… business is about to pick up!”
[Don Callis walks out with his trademark smug grin, microphone in hand. Right behind him is TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher, title gleaming over his shoulder. The crowd boos loudly.]
Don Callis:
“Well, well, well… Kenny. Congratulations. That was a hard-fought win. But, y’know, I couldn’t help but notice something tonight. You’re not the Kenny Omega that I made famous. You’re slower. You’re vulnerable. And frankly? You’re just… not the best anymore.”
[Crowd boos heavily. Omega smirks, mouthing “Really, Don?”]
Don Callis:
“But don’t worry, Kenny, because I’ve got the guy who is the best. A man younger, faster, hungrier… and a man who already carries gold. Ladies and gentlemen — your TNT Champion, Kyle Fletcher!”
[Fletcher steps forward, pointing at Omega while holding up the TNT Championship. The crowd reacts with a mix of boos and cheers, impressed by his boldness.]
Kyle Fletcher:
“Kenny, I’ve spent my career hearing your name. Hearing how you’re the ‘Best Bout Machine.’ Well, I don’t buy it. I’m sick of standing in your shadow, sick of people comparing me to you. At All Out, I’m gonna prove to the world that Kyle Fletcher is the future… and Kenny Omega is the past.
So here’s the challenge, Kenny: You. Me. One-on-one. For the TNT Championship.”
[The crowd roars. Omega paces the ring, laughing to himself, then grabs a mic.]
Kenny Omega:
“Y’know, Don, I should’ve expected this. You find another young, shiny toy to hide behind, and now he thinks he can hang with me. Kyle, I’ve watched you grow, I know how good you are… but kid, you’re not ready.
Still… if you want to embarrass yourself on the biggest stage possible? If you want to test yourself against the guy who redefined professional wrestling? Then fine. At All Out, I’m coming for that TNT Championship. And when the dust settles, people will remember exactly why I’m still the Best. Bout. Machine.”
[Crowd explodes as Omega drops the mic. Callis drags Fletcher back up the ramp, smirking, as Fletcher shouts at Omega, holding the TNT title high.]
Excalibur:
“Oh my god! Kenny Omega versus Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Championship at All Out! What a match that’s going to be!”.
----------------------------------------------------------
[Camera cuts backstage. Hangman Adam Page is standing alone, AEW World Championship slung over his shoulder. His hair is a little damp, his expression serious. He looks into the camera without the usual cowboy bravado—just quiet intensity.]
Hangman Page:
“Y’know… people keep asking me what’s next. What’s next for Hangman Page, what’s next for the AEW World Championship. And truth is… I don’t really got an answer. I’ve been fighting tooth and nail to prove I belong here, and every damn time I step into this ring, I leave a piece of myself behind.
But that’s what being champion means. It means standing up when you’ve got nothing left. It means proving you’re the best, every night, no excuses.
So I’ll make this real simple. All Out’s right around the corner. And I don’t want some easy defense, I don’t want the path of least resistance. I want the fight of my life.
So to anybody in New Japan Pro Wrestling that’s watching — anybody who thinks they can walk into my company and take my championship — I’m daring you. Step up. Meet me at All Out. Let’s find out who the hell is really the best wrestler in the world.”
