Last week raw was a clip show so he started the trial week with NXT

I see. Still doesn't really explain skipping the first Monday of the year off a practice week? I'm not mad but a bit confused the logic of not starting the season on the first date wwe show of the year I guess

The weeks run Tuesday through Monday. Ending and starting the week with a weekly TV is easier than dealing with various PLEs/PPVs messing with timing. Some are Saturday some are Sunday, just made for confusion.

Also I didn't want to start the game for real with an episode of NXT that was taped 2 weeks before (12/27 NXT was the 3rd of a 3-show taping a few weeks ago spoilers were online).
