I doubt it happened but realistically whoever negotiated that on WWE's side should have made sure they knew "Hey we've never done this live before, there's a chance we might have to go back." But of course you know they said "Nah live is no problem baby" or some shit

Yeah I mean if Im a tv network, and I paid you for a LIVE show I'd be wanting some money back because everyone knows live costs more to produce than taped, so now WWE is pocketing money they SHOULD be spending on the show I paid for. Dunno if that makes sense but thats how I would see it and I would be like yo that contract was negotiated in bad faith then and Id be looking at opting out

Well I'm sure the USA knew this was being planned anyway and they didn't learn from the Fightful news lol they might not be happy about it but they're not gonna try and get out of the contract when I assume they've already approved this. If they said nah, then WWE probably would have just kept trucking on live and just unhappy about it. Ratings probably gonna drop being taped though, maybe from quality too, so I doubt the show even gets renewed at this point. Doesn't seem like WWE even wants it to.
