Really don't like celebrating death at all even terrible people bc I view death as a release and I'd rather them get some comeuppance in life bc I'm that petty I've seen a bunch of random shit on Twitter the last few months of ignorant people not taking COVID seriously and then ending up dying from it and people just think it's the most hilarious thing ever

Of course they want to call it fake news. That's their job and if you don't do your job, then you're fucking fired. Reading stuff like this pisses me off. There's no avoiding bad news because it's everywhere. You barely see any good news in this country.

Unfortunately, that is because negativity sales more than positivity, my friend. For the past few weeks, I have been staying off news sites, social media, etc, because everything is doom and gloom so to speak. Even at the DFAC here, they have five freaking TVs in there and all they ever have on is news. Even the damn sports channel is nothing but that now. So i just get my food to go and leave.

As Ivan Drago once said, "If he dies, he dies." I'm not about to go on some emotional appeal or even dare to feign condolences for someone who's own action (or in this case inaction) and ignorance was a direct result of their own death, especially regarding a pandemic that the rest of the world has been saying for months now targets the elderly and children. All I have to say is that hopefully Conservatives will finally get their heads out of their asses and take this shit seriously.

I’m gonna assume since he’s wants the election delayed, he doesn’t know this. Unless he wants it delayed and held before Jan 20th.

But not gonna lie, I would laugh if it does and then Jan 20th comes and he’s told to GTFO.

What's the source on this? As far as I know elections haven't ever been delayed in America even during the Civil War and World Wars so I don't think we have any practical examples to go off of, but I know there has to be some protocols in the constitution or something

I checked two different sites. Tho both gave a different answer of who becomes President if it happens.

So the constitution is not clear

It's very open to interpretation and tbh I think the best solution if there is no election (which should never be the case IMO) is to let the current president have an extended term. If Trump were to get reelected then I think you just retroactively say his second term started on the 20th regardless of when it did, but if he were to lose then it gets a bit more complicated. For simplicity sake I say that if Biden wins a later election and becomes president let's say in February or March, he would just serve a slightly shortened term which I'm sure will make people SO UPSET despite it only being a couple months.

All that being said, the election should still happen on time, as is. It's only a problem in states that have terrible election procedures anyway....AKA the South
