WWE RAW Going to Three Hours?, WrestleMania 2011 Update & More

- Access Atlanta is reporting that WWE has decided to hold WrestleMania in 2011 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. A press conference is scheduled for noon on Monday to make the official announcement.

- As noted before, WWE star Curt Hawkins worked as a color commentator at the recent WWE developmental TV tapings. Hawkins said on Twitter that it wasn't a tryout but just a one time deal.

- Dave Meltzer reports that there is talk within WWE of making RAW three-hours each week if TNA moves to Monday nights for good. There has also been talk of keeping the guest host storyline booked if TNA goes to Mondays.

Apparently the USA Network is high on RAW going to three-hours but Vince and Stephanie McMahon are both said to be against it. Word is that this is something being talked about a lot among some in the company.

I personally would enjoy this a lot, but I hope they don't over expose their product if they do this. Could just be a made up rumor, I highly doubt WWE would do anything to change their line up because of TNA.

I think an extra hour on RAW > WWE Superstars. That way they wont overexpose their product, like I feel they're doing right now, but they will get a little more time on air.

Plus, if they want to compete with TNA - hearing rumours they might be going to Monday nights?, I'm sure this would help.

Cannot see how adding another hour onto that shitfest will improve it at all.

I just like the fact it is another hour of RAW. I always look forward every week to Monday night just to watch RAW. It is the only TV show I watch to be honest. I rarely watch Smackdown and I hate watching Impact because it is just edited too much and rushed it seems. Another hour of RAW is cool for me.

Plus, if they want to compete with TNA - hearing rumours they might be going to Monday nights?, I'm sure this would help.

I think it's the other way around. RAW draws like 5million a show, TNA like 1.9-2million?

2 hours of a suck ass show is pretty hard to take. To add an extra hour of SUCK to a terrible show would probably make wrestling fans want to slit their wrists.

However if Raw somehow digs itself out of the hole itself dug, then I will be open to the whole 3 hour show.

They can barely fill 2 hours with watchable content... what the fuck would that third hour be like? I shudder to think.

I would say they would stick a couple guest host/hornswoggle/bella twins/michael cole dance parties into the mix.

Most likely a 3 hour show would add on to the shitfest but if by some miracle they get some time to show off more talent and push some guys I'll be interested. But I doubt that would happen.

Also, one of the saving graces is usually that when we get a 3 hour RAW we know it'll usually be pretty damn good. What are they going to do to make it special now? 4 hours? gtfo
RAW=Nitro's time slot.

It absolutely makes sense for the USA network to want RAW to be 3 hours. Considering how they do such great ratings every week and their 3hr specials always do well. Like the news story originally said USA wanted WWE to do this awhile ago and the McMahon's were against it, naturally because it is a lot more work for everyone to do.

I'd be all for it. Extra hour of Raw id be pretty happy, Yes they would be some crap shows as the majority of them are now, And a decent Raw is like rocking horse shit these days. But i still watch every week regardless.
But then there is some good to great stuff on Raw that they pull out there arses every now again and when they do you wish that it was on longer.

Take SD its been crap for a good few weeks now(Punk-SES, And Jericho aside), Then this week was awesome it had IMO three of the best matches I've seen in awhile HHH/Punk, Morrison/Drew, HBK/Rey. Why those matches were not advertised is beyond me. I would have loved for it to have gone on for another hour. I know this was SD and not Raw but you get my point.

Plus if they did do that extra hour, We may actually get some decent length matches. Not 5 minute rush jobs. Even more so If they did actually step up and make the product better on a weekly basis then that extra hour would be great.
