I have a friend who works in movie making (he primarily works as a camera operator and electrical work but has also produced his own short film which he won an IFC award for, and appeared on screen in a small role in Cate Blanchett's Carol) and he has repeatedly criticized the work of the current WBD CEO.
From a personal standpoint, Netflix would be a good buyer if they combine HBO Max with Netflix since I already have a Netflix subscription and would then have one less subscription, though I worry more about what Netflix would do with AEW and it's archive programming since they have a deal with WWE and we know WWE will do anything to crush AEW. Paramount makes sense, though, since in this world of people struggling financially I imagine Paramount and Peacock would be among the first to go for many people. It would help Paramount out tremendously to add HBO and Warner Brothers content, including the DC Universe.
