- According to F4Wonline.com, WWE plan to hold the SummerSlam PPV in Los Angeles every year from now on. As previously reported, WWE want to strengthen their ties in the Entertainment world and feeling hosting an annual PPV in L.A. will help toward that goal.

I'm moving back to California anyway. So maybe I'll just buy Summerslam tickets and do the 6 hour drive to L.A. every year. lol.

Not exactly see this as such a bad thing, but it outright sucks for the rest of the venues. Besides, I don't see how this event would let them do anything than they wouldn't be able to do at any other given time. And it isn't as Summerslam generates a shitload of media coverage or buzz in a city like Wrestlemania does.
