I recently downloaded two games for the PC. The first was Resident Evil 4 and as of today Devil May Cry 3. I was extremely excited to play through RE4 again and really wanted to get into DMC 3 as I hadn't played that one yet.

Much to my chagrin however it seems that neither game supports the mouse. Being able to use a mouse is the biggest reason why I prefer playing games on the PC as opposed to on a console. Especially with a game like RE4 where proper aiming is crucial.

I don't get it at all. Are game developers that lazy that when they port a game they can't include mouse support? So angering.

Oh yeah, I forgot. I also downloaded a Silent Hill collection as I had never played any of those before ever and of course no mouse support for any of them aside from the fourth one and on that one they may as well have left it out it is so useless.

Play the Silent Hill games, Devil May Cry 3 and RE4 on the PS2.

That would defeat the purpose of playing them on the PC. I don't like controllers very much. I find using the mouse and keyboard to be far easier and more intuitive.

It also would cost me far more money to purchase a PS2 and those games as opposed to downloading them and playing them on my PC.

145 million PS2's sold and you don't have one. But I'm guessing you have owned one before?

Up until I got the disc read error, yeah. Now I only have an SNES, but that is more for nostalgia's sake than anything else.

I dunno, to me consoles just aren't worth it. Sure my PC is more expensive, but I can do a lot more with it. And like I said before I just have a preference to using a mouse/keyboard over a controller any day of the week.
