"There is a very good chance that Ronda Rousey will be finishing up with WWE at WrestleMania."

If this is true then I will be a little bit upset. Ronda shocked me in 2018 and I enjoy watching her matches. Plus we might not get to see matches like The Four Horsewoman bout or Ronda vs. Asuka as the article says. I hope Ronda has a lighter schedule after 'Mania and not 100% done.

I swear she's been talking about starting a family for ages now. Even when there were first talks of her signing with WWE, I was already reading about her wanting to go full-time for a while and then have a kid once she feels like she's impacted the company enough.
She apparently signed a multi year deal with the E so I wouldn't jump to any conclusions yet, but I wouldn't be shocked to see her step away after Mania either.

Regardless of when she decides to start her family, I'm happy for her that she got to have a great run and that it all worked out the way she wanted it to (so far at least). And who knows, she might pop back up for a couple part-time angles in a few years when the other MMA horsewomen are fully developed and ready for that 4v4, for example

It was reported last year she's leaving after WrestleMania. Not surprising, she wants a family and she's not getting any younger.

Also, let's pray that Horsewomen bout doesn't happen. That sounds like a trainwreck.. not a fun one either.

She mentioned wanting to start a family before being in WWE, I think she started bringing it up before her last UFC match. Maybe she is realizing that WWE isn't what it appears and she is getting bored with it already. Having a family (children) would be far less predictable and more entertaining, as well as more rewarding.

Yeah, this is not really surprising. Hopefully she does put over Becky in the end.

As you all noted above, Rousey has been long talking about wanting to start a family so this piece of news shouldn't really come as a surprise. However, I'm personally a bit hesitant about the timeline and the only reason I'm saying this is because we have to keep in mind the FOX deal come October and the fact that FOX WANT Ronda Rousey on Smackdown.

Simply put, there's just too much money involved here and Ronda Rousey is a big fucking name. I obviously cannot possibly know what goes on behind the curtain but if I were to make a guess, I'd say the pressure would be on for her to stick around for at least another year, move over to Smackdown, eventually make it to Wrestlemania 36 and perhaps THEN take the time off she wants, for as long as she wants.

They reported what Meltzer said.

She is under contract until 2021. Obviously if she gets pregnant she will get time off.

They reported what Meltzer said.

Hence why I don't ever follow any of these wresting news or rumor sites that just post shit for click bait, let alone subscribe and give them any of my hard earned money. Of course I stay informed through a couple of reputable sources but aside from the fact that I prefer to avoid spoilers anyway and either try to predict things myself or just be surprised (an element that I feel is lacking dearly nowadays), I refuse to have them insult my inteligence...

In this case, and as Zardnaar correctly pointed out, Ronda is on a three year deal so that's pretty much the end of any conversation. Could she negotiate getting out of that contract? I guess she could but like I noted in my post above, there's just too much money involved and WWE ain't letting anyone off the hook that easy....

Look at Mike Kanellis for example. Apparently he wants out and they ain't letting him go. Mike fucking Kanellis. When's the last time we saw Mike fucking Kanellis on TV and what time of major story line is he currently part of? Yeah, excactly...

She can always use her wanting to leave to start a family as a negotiating tactic for more money

If she gets pregnant they will let her sit on the sidelines until her contract expires. They won't let her go or force her to work. If she wants to start a family retirement is more likely than seeing her turn up in AEW.

They would probably be happy to pay her as well although she would get less than being in ring. While people think McMahon is ruthless his legends contracts are in effect a retirement package and they stop them getting bored and signing up elsewhere.

HBK was also on 100k per year in 1998-2002 even though he was sidelined. Basically if Ronda wants to start a family I am 100% sure WWE would make it work for her at least because she is one of their top stars, tough luck for most of the roster would be my guess.

She can go part time, special attraction, cameos, become a manager, cameo in movies etc. They'll make it work some how.

There is zero chance she would end up in AEW. I dont think she would wanna demote herself to that level, and i dont think the AEW guys would even want her, at least for what they would have to pay to get her
