Disney+ has revealed the first official trailer for Ms. Marvel, which tees up the arrival of a fan-favorite comics character in her own solo series as a part of the MCU's Phase Four. The show stars newcomer Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, an ordinary teenager from Jersey City who writes her own fanfiction (mostly about her idol Captain Marvel) and eventually finds herself the recipient of unexpected powers. The six-episode TV series is slated to premiere on Disney+ on June 8.​

I remember when I first saw Stargirl I was like man I'm going to hate this Show because of all the teenage angst and by the 2nd Season I loved it. Ms. Marvel looks like a Show that is going to blow that Show out of the Water and I'm here for it.

Man look at where we are in the MCU for a moment. We went from Iron Man and the formation of the Avengers, to eventually taking on Thanos and beating him after all those losses, Multiverse, and now we are getting younger Heroes apart of the MCU.

It’s crazy that Marvel is committed to bringing literally every hero to the MCU. I ain’t complaining though. No one would’ve ever thought this would be possible. This show looks like really lean into the fact that she’s just a kid and wants to be something bigger than herself. I love stories like that so I’m looking forward to this for sure.
