I am not too sure but I think it is damn obvious that Christian cage is done with TNA and he is heading back to the E where a possible main event slot is awaiting for him. And that’s good for Christian but not so good for TNA, I mean when he first came in TNA, he was just a midcard comedy act back in the WWE jobbing to Batista, John Cena and he really wasn’t being used well. He came in TNA and they unleashed the opportunity for Christian to go to the next step. A few years later and after a huge push, a few World title reigns and leading his own stable, Cage seems to have left leaving all the effort TNA put in him to waste well for TNA. Strong rumour is linking Kurt Angle with a job up north when his contract expires and with Cage and Angle gone that’s a large chunk of TNA's main event gone to the rival company.

The point I am trying to make is that instead of pushing all these ex WWE/WCW wrestlers why not push a younger generation. Loyalty should count for something in this day and age and no one has showed more loyalty to the company than the likes of Abyss, Robert Roode, James Storm, Jay Lethal, MCMG, LAX and a host of other great fresh talent. Personally I think the year 2009 is the year the young guys step up. The time is right and let’s hopes TNA can push some fresh talent into the Main event scene.

How many people have said this?

Yeah, there is fuckloads of potential on the roster but Booker, Angle etc. have control. People would've said this last year. It won't happen for a long time, if TNA is around for a long time. Which remans to be seen.

If it happens, it will be too little too late anyway.

This has been said for months, nothing changes.

If they would have taken down all big stars (Angle, Booker, Christian and Sting) and pushed AJ Styles and Samoa Joe (the only talent worthy of being in the main event) a year ago, then TNA would have had a large global fanbase today and would have been so original and unique. But sadly they never learn from their mistakes and that's why they fail.

Agreed.

And much of the young guys have the potential of being Main Event moneymakers for TNA, I just hope they do the right thing this year and don't repeat the same old shit.
