I did ask Barry to move my thread that I accidentally posted in Sports over to here. Think he's forgotten.

I completely missed that there was a separate section and was baffled why there was no Football/Soccer thread.

This is what I posted in that one:

Liverpool are back on track (thank god). Losing 5 in a row would have almost certainly seen Arne Slot sacked.

5 different goalscorers, 14 shots on target from 18 in total is an absolute world apart from how they have been playing so far this season. 2 assists for Floran Wirtz. Should have been a goal for FW as well if Salah had just passed the ball instead of going for it himself.

It's all well and good doing this again Frankurt though, but respectfully, doing this again at the weekend against Brentford will be more difficult. Not because Brentford are a better team, but because of the mental factor of how they have been playing. Hopefully I'm actually wrong about that and this boosts the confidence massively and they go into that game firing from all angles like tonight.

All in all, good night. Nice to see them actually win. Onto Saturday!
I agree

I'm also a football fan (support Chelsea) but not really feeling it this season. Still watching and think there's been some good matches, but I think part of it is that Chelsea has changed so much recently. I do not like the new owners one bit. Hopefully I'll adjust but something feels a bit off to me, personally.

Also, lol Dyche won his first game at Forest (against Porto nonetheless). Makes Ange look even worse :lol in fairness to him, that appointment made little sense in the first place.

Slot was never getting fired.
