My Thoughts on the Winner I got no issue with Duggan being the man chosen to win the inaugural Royal Rumble match. The fans loved him given that his catchphrase is still heard in arenas to this day.
My Thoughts on the Rumble Going back to the inception of the Royal Rumble match is weird for me for one major reason. The inaugural Royal Rumble only has twenty entrants not what would come be the normal total of thirty.
My Choice of Winner Like previously stated I take no issue with Duggan being the chosen victor. But for arguments sake, I am going to go in a different direction for my choice of winner. I would pick the “Eighth Wonder of the World” Andre the Giant, for a couple of reasons. First, I think that Andre should have won a rumble match. And two I just think picking a giant to win the match would be cool.
My Thoughts on the Winner I am not familiar with the work of Big John Studd so I don't feel like I can cast judgment on him.
My Thoughts on the Rumble This event proved that the Royal Rumble was more than a one off type of match.
Also this is the first year with thirty entrants, which I like, However it is still obvious that they were still working the kinks out of it.
My Choice of Winner Looking back at the field of competition I have a few suggestions for a different winner instead of Big John Studd any of them would be a good choice in my opinion. Those being the WWF Champion Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, or even Mr Perfect.
My Thoughts on the Winner While I understand why Hogan is loved by a lot of fans of pro wrestling, I have never been a fan of his.
Don't get it twisted I am not talking about his life outside of the squared circle, I just didn't get into wrestling when he was figure head.
Revised Winner Despite previously stating my feelings toward Hulk Hogan I am going to stick with him as the winner of the 1991 Royal Rumble match.
My Thoughts on the Winner Similar to Hulk Hogan, I got into pro wrestling years and years after the "Nature Boy" was the talking point of the business. That being said I 100% can understand that Flair moving over to the World Wrestling Federation and winning the WWF Championship was a major industry shaking moment.
Revised Winner I am not going to be doing this a lot of the time, but I am sticking with Flair as the winner.
My Thoughts on the Winner I understand going in a different direction in giving the win to Yokozuna, given that he was great attraction type of a wrestler.
Revised Winner Instead I am rebooking the ending of the 93 Royal Rumble match, instead of the "Macho Man" attempting to pin the big man. I would turn the tables on Yokozuna and end up giving the win to Randy Savage instead because he just seems the right pick imo.
WrestleMania Outcome Instead of Yokozuna defeating Bret Hart(c) to win the WWF Championship only to drop it to the returning Hulk Hogan. I would have the "Macho Man" versus the "Hitman" for the top prize of the federation at the show of shows, with Savage winning the gold.
My Thoughts on the Winner It was an interesting choice to have the 94 Royal Rumble match to conclude with not the usual one but two winners.
Revised Winner I am going to stick with both Lex Luger and Bret Hart winning the Royal Rumble match.
WrestleMania Outcome So at WrestleMania X I would have the show of shows close out with a huge triple threat match for the WWF Championship. Featuring the reigning and defending champion Yokozuna(c) and both of the co-winners of the Rumble. In the forms of the "Total Package" Lex Luger and Bret "The Hitman" Hart with the latter aka Hart forcing Hogan to submit to the Sharpshooter.
My Thoughts on the Winner Makes sense with the Heartbreak Kid getting the win here.
Revised Winner I am going to stick with Shawn Michaels as the only other one that stands out to me is Britsh Bulldog.
WrestleMania Outcome So we get the match between the two Kliq members, those being the reigning champion Diesel(c) and Shawn Michaels. Only change I am making is the winner of the match, as I think Michaels could have won the gold and been a better champion.
Original Winner Shawn Michaels does the impossible and wins his second Royal Rumble in as many years.
My Thoughts on the Winner I get the fact that Michaels rectify's his loss at WrestleMania XII from the year previous.
Revised Winner As a direct result of my rebooking of the WrestleMania XII event where HBK gets the title win I am going in a different direction. I see two possible choices for the rebooked winner for the 96 Royal Rumble match, first Owen Hart and second the British Bulldog. For me I am gonna go with the former aka the younger Hart brother in Owen Hart as the winner.
WrestleMania Outcome With Owen's win in the 1996 Royal Rumble match instead of the Iron Man match for the WWF Championship between Bret Hart(c) and Shawn Michaels. We get a battle of the brothers over the top prize of the World Wrestling Federation the WWF Championship. I would have the "Hitman" get one over his younger brother in a decent replacement.
Original Winner STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN - But really Bret Hart.
My Thoughts on the Winner It was good little bit of booking with the whole refree being distracted leading to Austins "victory".
Revised Winner Now I could reasonably go with what actually happened but that would just be too easy in my opinion.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooo I am going with someone completely different for my winner of the 97 Royal Rumble match, the Undertaker.
WrestleMania Outcome So we still get the showdown over the WWF Championship between the reigning champion Sycho Sid(c) versus the Undertaker. And the match goes down exactly the same with Taker getting the better of Sid to become the new WWF Champion.
Original Winner Stone Cold Steve Austin gets his "second" Royal Rumble victory
My Thoughts on the Winner This was SCSA's first real victory in the Royal Rumble and it was the right place and right time for him to be the winner.
Revised Winner I am actually going to stay the course here and keep Austin as the winner because I have no issue with it.
WrestleMania Outcome We still get the same WrestleMania XIV main event between two of the biggest stars in the federation in the pair of Shawn Michaels(c) and Stone Cold Steve Austin. For me you can have Mike Tyson involved in it or not it doesn't add or take away from the encounter.
Original Winner DON'T CROSS THE BOSS - Vincent K McMahon gets the win thanks to help from WWF Champion The Rock(c).
My Thoughts on the Winner While it made since in terms of the storyline beteen Austin and McMahon, I just don't like it.
Revised Winner So instead of McMahon getting the win and then not challenging for the WWF Championship, not that I want to be a thing. I am going to have Austin get his second win by eliminating McMahon.
WrestleMania Outcome At WrestleMania XV we get the No Dq clash for the WWF Championship between The Rock(c) and Stone Cold with the latter getting the win.
My Thoughts on the Winner I understand that you can plan and plan annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd plan but you can't plan for everything, shit happens.
Revised Winner In this rebooked world the "botch" ending and we just go with The Rock getting the win by eliminating The Big Show.
WrestleMania Outcome I wouldn't have the whole Mick Foley gets forced into retirment if you are going to have a fatal four way with him included. But in this rebooking we would have Big Show VS Mick Foley at Mania and also The Rock beating Triple H(c) for the WWF Championship.
Original Winner Stone Cold gets his third and final Rumble win, by eliminating Kane.
My Thoughts on the Winner Look I get it Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the biggest stars of pro wrestling in history, he didn't need three wins though.
Revised Winner The 2001 edition of the Royal Rumble match was one of the more unpredictable and I feel like the company went with an obvious choice. Baring all that in mind I am going with the in real life runner up the "Big Red Machine" it's gotta beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee KANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WrestleMania Outcome You got two choices, first Kane challenges the Rock for the WWF Championship at Mania and win the big one/
Or second he goes to Mania to challenge for the title and the "Great One" The Rock(c) retains, I would give Kane the big win.
