Meeting - New World Pro-Wrestling HQ- Las Vegas, NV, USA

Attendees: Executive Team, Finance Team, Talent Relations, Warrior & BAPE Representatives

Subject: Strategic Review - Apparel Partnerships

Meeting Notes – Apparel Partnerships (Warrior x BAPE x NWPW)

1. Strategic Pros of Collaboration

With Warrior (Performance / Training Wear)

(unchanged from early discussions — practical, performance-first, athlete-focused)

  • Athlete-focused training wear (compression, hoodies, shorts, warm-up jackets).
  • Creates consistent, professional image for wrestlers at events + walkouts.
  • Fan-accessible versions drive steady sales (Amazon + arena stores).

With BAPE (Streetwear / Lifestyle)

  • Global Prestige: BAPE is world-renowned for limited streetwear, with huge demand in Japan, Asia, the US, and Europe. Aligns NWPW with luxury street culture.
  • Japanese Heritage: Ties directly into Tokyo (WrestleKingdom’s home) → authentic connection between wrestling and Japanese culture.
  • Celebrity Crossover: BAPE is worn by athletes, rappers, and global icons → NWPW gains crossover visibility in music, fashion, and entertainment.
  • Exclusive Capsule Drops: WrestleKingdom x BAPE collab has instant hype & resale value, creating a cultural moment around the PPV.
  • Distribution Power: Flagship stores in Tokyo, LA, NYC + Amazon storefront → ensures both exclusivity and reach.

2. Revenue Potential

Initial Forecast (2026 Launch Year)

Warrior Training Line:
  • Global sales of performance/training apparel.
  • Projected Sales: $4M–$6M.

BAPE Lifestyle Line:
  • Capsule drops per PPV (hoodies, tees, camo jackets, accessories).
  • Streetwear/luxury price points ($80–$250).
  • Projected Sales: $15M–$25M globally in 2026 (huge demand in Japan, China, US).

Combined Projection (Year 1): $19M–$31M gross revenue
Licensing / profit share: NWPW cut likely 20–25%.
Net to NWPW: ~$4.5M–$7.5M.

3. Long-Term Value

  • Prestige Factor: Being aligned with BAPE elevates NWPW beyond wrestling → positions it as a cultural brand.
  • International Marketing: BAPE × NWPW can headline billboards in Tokyo, NYC, LA → boosts visibility far outside arenas.
  • Scalability: Opens door to limited sneaker collaborations (e.g., BAPE STA wrestling-themed drops).
  • Athlete Integration: Wrestlers can headline campaigns like athletes do for Nike/Adidas.
  • PrimeAccess Tie-In: BAPE pop-up shops at PrimeAccess Events before PPVs (Tokyo, Vegas, etc.).

4. Risks & Considerations

  • Pricing Barrier: BAPE is expensive → must ensure fans at all levels can still access NWPW merch (perhaps Warrior covers the affordable side, BAPE = luxury).
  • Exclusivity: BAPE may want limited runs only; need balance between hype and availability.
  • Logistics: High demand/resale market means risk of bots/resellers → must manage fair drops.

✅ Action Items:

  • Begin negotiations with BAPE on WrestleKingdom / IWGP line 2026 capsule collab (Tokyo release + Amazon limited).
  • Position Warrior as the everyday training line and BAPE as the luxury streetwear line.
  • Create a dual-merchandising strategy:
  • Arena shops: Warrior + select BAPE drops.
  • Amazon: Warrior staples, BAPE limited capsules.
  • Announce first BAPE x NWPW capsule as part of PrimeAccess Tokyo (Dec 2025).

The upside with BAPE is way bigger than Undefeated because of global brand prestige + Japanese authenticity. It makes WrestleKingdom feel even more like a cultural event. Both Warrior and BAPE Representatives are happy to proceed with deal.

Read a few of the previous posts referring to the 'Road To' series as well. I like the idea as a way to get some hype/heat for announced matches, especially for the early shows when feuds/angles are just kicking off.

Meeting Notes - Factions / Units

Faction / Unit Framework for NWPW

Core Principles

  • Not story gimmicks: These are training camps / management stables, like Golden Boy Promotions, Top Rank, or MMA gyms.
  • Managers = agents: Suits, media-trained, serious tone. They negotiate contracts, push for title shots, protect clients.
  • Optional but strategic: Some fighters stay solo (Ibushi, Miyahara, Naito), while others gain leverage under managers.
  • Organic heat: Managers can become the “villains” by politicking, hogging press time, and stacking title opportunities for their clients.

‍ Example Units & Managers

Quiet Killers (Technical Specialists)

  • Manager: Former shooter-style trainer, stoic, speaks only in pressers.
  • Roster Clients: Zack Sabre Jr., Timothy Thatcher, Tomohiro Ishii, Leyla Hirsch
  • Philosophy: “No flash, only technique. Contracts first, talk second.”

Cash Money (USA – Hip-Hop Inspired Heel Unit)

  • Manager: Rap mogul-style (chains, bravado, business swagger). Flanked by hype entourage.
  • Top Stars: Lio Rush (flash), Gable Steveson (Olympic legitimacy).
  • Supporting Stars: Myron Reed, Calvin Tankman, Sidney Akeem.
  • Women’s Star: Big Swole (loud, powerful voice of the faction).
  • Identity: Neon lighting, hip-hop beats, merch drops, “Money Fight” branding.
  • Role: Embody box office charisma, bragging about ratings, purses, lifestyle.
  • Heat Factor: Manager insults fans for being “too broke to understand,” while bragging about paychecks.

La Sociedad Dorada (Mexico – The Golden Society)

  • Manager: Suave lucha empresario (gold chains, designer suits, charisma) — always boasting Mexican lineage & lucha tradition.
  • Top Star: Volador Jr. (legacy credibility)
  • Supporting Stars: Francesco Akira, Miguel “Daga” Ángel, Musashi/Atsuki Aoyagi (crossover prestige)
  • Women’s Star: Alejandra Quintanilla (fiery lucha rep for women)
  • Identity: Gold jackets, lucha masks in entourage, celebratory vibe.
  • Role: Represent heritage & honor, but sharp-tongued when rivals “disrespect lucha.”
  • Heat Factor: Manager cuts fiery Spanish-language promos, demands lucha libre is respected as “true world wrestling.”

IDEA - 5 FACTIONS / UNITS IN US / WEST AND 7 IN JAPAN / ASIA

That’s a smart, balanced structure — 5 units in the West (NWA side) and 5 units in Japan/Asia (IWGP side) keeps things organized but still dynamic.

It mirrors how boxing/MMA has multiple gyms & promoters, and gives every wrestler either a home base or the freedom to stand as a lone wolf. Plus it avoids overloading one territory with too many stables.

Here’s a proposed faction map based on what we’ve sketched so far, plus a few to flesh it out:

NWA (US / West) – 5 Factions / Units

  1. Cash MoneyHip-Hop Heel Mega-Camp
    • Manager: Rap mogul agent with bravado & bling - Attempt to Sign MVP
    • Core: Lio Rush, Gable Steveson, Big Swole, Myron Reed, Calvin Tankman, Sidney Akeem.
    • Identity: Flash, hype, “money fights,” box office arrogance.
  2. Quiet KillersSilent Assassins / Legit Grapplers
    • Manager: Ice-cold agent who speaks for them - Carlito Colon - Option
    • Core: Donovan Dijak, Timothy Thatcher, Colby Corino, Shayna Baszler.
    • Identity: Low-profile killers, all business.
  3. La Sociedad DoradaThe Golden Society (Mexico Pride)
    • Manager: Suave lucha empresario - Cesar Duran - Option
    • Core: Volador Jr., El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Daga,Luis Mante, Travis Lopes, Alejandra Quintanilla.
    • Identity: Tradition, spectacle, “Hispanic honor.”
  4. Bloodsport IncShoot-Style Heavy Hitters
    • Manager: Josh Barnett as trainer/agent.
    • Core: Tom Lawlor, Karl Fredericks, Parker Boudreaux, Bozilla.
    • Identity: MMA crossover, strong style power.
  5. Atlas Sports SyndicateWorld Agency Group / Ruthless Negotiators
    • Manager: Suited corporate shark - Chavo Guerrero - Option
    • Core: Miro, Xena Kacho , Kevin Ku, Oskar Leube, Xia Li
    • Identity: Business first, fight anywhere, “mercenary” mentality.

⚖️ Faction Role Spread (NWA):

  • Cash Money = Flashy heels / hype merchants
  • Quiet Killers = Pure sport assassins
  • La Sociedad Dorada = Heritage & spectacle
  • Bloodsport Inc = Strong style shooters
  • Atlas Syndicate = Global mercenaries / “agency” angle
Together, these 5 factions cover cultural representation (US, Mexico, global), fight styles (lucha, MMA, puro, business-first), and character tones (loud, silent, tradition, corporate).

IWGP (JAPAN/ EAST) – 5 Factions / Units

Bullet Club – Global Chaos Heels (Prestige)

  • Top Star: Hiromu Takahashi
  • Core: Bad Luck Fale, Henare, Gedo, Jado
  • Juniors / Middleweights: Taiji Ishimori, SHO, Taka Michinoku, Hikaru Sato
  • Women’s Rep: Hazuki (edgy, perfect fit for their chaos identity)
  • Identity: Infamous global heel brand, thrives on ambushes and show disruption.

Strong Hearts Dojo – Spirit & Discipline

  • Manager: Old-school dojo trainer (stoic, authoritative)
  • Top Star: Kento Miyahara
  • Supporting: Shingo Takagi, Shota Umino, Tomohiro Ishii, Yuya Uemura
  • Women’s Rep: Syuri Kondo (striker ace, dojo captain type)
  • Identity: Traditional fighting spirit, respect, workhorse babyfaces.

The Iron Shogunate – Ruthless Dynasty Heels

  • Manager: Stern “corporate shogun” businessman
  • Core Stars: Sanada, Jake Lee
  • Supporting: Yujiro Takahashi, Taka Michinoku (veteran mouthpiece)
  • Women’s Rep: Natsuko Tora (heel enforcer, brutal presence)
  • Identity: Calculated empire, disciplined and ruthless — contrast to BC’s chaos.

TMDK (The Mighty Don’t Kneel) – Global Brotherhood

  • Manager: Shane Haste (player/coach)
  • Core: Mikey Nicholls, Shane Haste
  • Supporting: Yota Tsuji, Rising Hayato
  • Women’s Rep: Mei Seira (flashy underdog)
  • Identity: Brotherhood of outsiders, rebellious but honorable scrappers.

Burning Spirit – Young Lions & Hungry Challengers

  • Manager: Charismatic ex-fighter trainer (like a Genki Horiguchi type)
  • Core: Shota Umino, Yota Tsuji (can rotate, anchor young blood)
  • Supporting: Hirai Kawato, Kyosuke Mikami, Dan Tamura
  • Women’s Rep: Saya Kamitani (flashy ace-level star who elevates the stable)
  • Identity: Youth movement, ambitious challengers, “the next wave.” Not heels, not veterans — a group positioned as the future.

The names involved are purely illustrative and potentially wont be the names once the Factions are confirmed.

PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New World Pro-Wrestling Announces Global Apparel Partnerships with Warrior & A Bathing Ape® (BAPE®)

Tokyo, Japan / Las Vegas, USA
2 September 2025 — New World Pro-Wrestling (NWPW), the fastest-growing name in global sports entertainment, today announced two landmark apparel partnerships set to redefine the connection between pro wrestling, performance, and street culture.

Warrior, the renowned athletic brand, will become the official performance and training apparel partner of NWPW. Simultaneously, the world-famous Japanese streetwear icon A Bathing Ape® (BAPE®) will serve as the exclusive lifestyle and streetwear collaborator for NWPW events worldwide.

Warrior x NWPW

The Warrior partnership will provide NWPW athletes with cutting-edge training gear and walkout apparel designed for peak performance. Fans will also be able to purchase official Warrior x NWPW training wear — including compression gear, hoodies, and activewear — through Amazon and at all live event merchandise stands.

“Wrestlers are athletes first,” said Steve Pastorino, NWPW Head of Global Partnerships. “Warrior’s commitment to performance excellence ensures our talent trains, prepares, and competes at the highest level. And now fans can join that same journey with gear built for performance.”

BAPE® x NWPW

In a historic move, NWPW is partnering with A Bathing Ape®, one of the most influential streetwear brands in the world, to create exclusive capsule collections tied to marquee NWPW events. The first collaboration, launching ahead of WrestleKingdom at the Tokyo Dome (January 3, 2026), will feature limited edition hoodies, tees, camo jackets, and accessories — available at PrimeAccess Tokyo, BAPE flagship stores, and Amazon worldwide.

This marks the first time BAPE has collaborated directly with a global pro-wrestling organization.

“BAPE represents style, culture, and authenticity,” said Mark Caplan, Head of Merchandising and Licensing at NWPW. “By uniting wrestling with streetwear, we’re creating something far bigger than merch — we’re creating culture. WrestleKingdom 2026 will be more than an event; it will be a fashion moment.”

Global Fan Access

Warrior x NWPW Performance Line → Available year-round via Amazon and live event merchandise stands.
BAPE® x NWPW Capsules → Limited edition collections released in conjunction with major PPVs, starting with WrestleKingdom 2026.

Both collaborations will also be featured as part of PrimeAccess Fan Festivals, including exclusive pop-up shops, athlete meet & greets, and first-look releases.

Meeting Location - New World Pro-Wrestling HQ, Las Vegas NV, USA
Meeting Itinerary - Initial talks between Konami and New World Pro-Wrestling over hyper-realistic game 'Strong Style 26' to be released in Summer 2026.

Attendees:

  • New World Pro-Wrestling: President, CEO, Head of Talent, VP of Media, Creative Director
  • Konami: SVP Global Sports Entertainment, Head of Development, Marketing Director, Lead Producer

Opening Remarks

  • NWPW - Matthew Manson - Idea we have is to create a new hyper-realistic sports game in line with how we see NWPW, a sports realistic interpretation of Pro-Wrestling. We see a yearly game called 'Strong Style' as a flagship new wrestling game and feel Konami is the best partner to create this vision.
  • NWPW CEO: “We see Strong Style 26 as our flagship digital extension. It should mirror the realism of our live events — weight classes, time limits, records, and championship prestige. We want this game to be the most authentic wrestling simulation ever made.”
  • Konami SVP: “That’s exactly the kind of project Konami thrives on. We’re committed to realism, but also know accessibility is key. We believe Strong Style can reach hardcore wrestling fans while still being playable for casual gamers.”

Discussion Points

1. Naming & Annual Franchise Model

  • Agreement: Title will be Strong Style 26, updated annually (Strong Style 27, etc.).
  • Mirrors Konami’s sports model (eFootball, Winning Eleven, Professional Baseball Spirits).
  • Positions NWPW alongside major sports titles like FIFA and NBA 2K.

2. Gameplay Design

  • Simulation Core: Authentic physics, stamina system, realistic grappling, and time limits (15 min for non-title, 30 min for title bouts).
  • Be the Matchmaker Mode: Players act as booker/GM, controlling rival promotions, booking arenas, setting PPV cards, managing rosters, and tracking wins/losses.
  • Cinematic Mode: Simplified mechanics with presentation focus, designed for casual fans who want the “big match feel.”

3. Roster & Content

  • Launch Roster: 100 IWGP wrestlers + 100 NWA wrestlers.
  • Arenas & Stadiums: 200+ global venues — Tokyo Dome, Michelob Ultra Arena, Korakuen Hall, Madison Square Garden, Arena México - no customs, all real life venues.
  • Presentation: Licensed MCs (Makoto Abe in Japan, Jimmy Lennon Jr. in North America). Full commentary tracks in English and Japanese.
  • DLC Roadmap: Aligned with NWPW PPV schedule (WrestleKingdom, GrandSummit, WrestleDynasty, The ONE). DLC packs with new wrestlers, attires, arenas.

4. Visual & Audio Style

  • Hyper-realistic graphics and gameplay in line with other Konami titles.
  • Music and production will mirror HBO/Showtime fight-night presentation.
  • Ring entrances recreated with motion capture — authentic attires, pyro, lighting, camera angles.
  • Commentary adapted for real-time match flow and storylines.

5. Technology & Development Timeline

  • Q3 2025: Start full motion capture with talent.
  • Q4 2025: Core gameplay engine finalized.
  • Q1 2026: Content build-out (rosters, arenas, commentary).
  • Q3 2026: Beta testing + marketing trailers.
  • Q3 2026: Demo release at E3 or Tokyo Game Show.
  • Summer 2026: Strong Style 26 full global launch.

6. Revenue & Market Potential

  • Projected Sales (Year 1): 2.5–3 million copies globally.
  • Primary Markets: Japan, USA, Canada, Europe, Mexico.
  • Esports Integration: Online leagues, ranked matchmaking, live tournaments tied to PPVs.
  • Cross-Promotion: Amazon Prime integration (exclusive skins, PPV ticket discounts, behind-the-scenes footage unlockable in-game).

Closing Statements

  • NWPW CEO: “This game isn’t a side project. It’s as important to our identity as our live PPVs. We want fans to feel the same intensity at home as they do in the Tokyo Dome or Las Vegas.”
  • Konami SVP: “We share that ambition. Konami doesn’t see this as a one-off — we see Strong Style as the future of wrestling games, and the start of a long-term partnership with New World Pro-Wrestling.”

Meeting ends with handshake agreement to draft contracts and begin motion capture planning immediately.

Meeting Itinary - Change in 'The Road To' structure.

Attendees:

• [NWPW] CEO, COO, Head of Media
• [Amazon] VP of Sports Originals, Head of Marketing, Head of Social Content

1. Opening

• NWPW CEO: “We’ve rethought The Road To. Instead of a four-part docu-series, we want a two-hour special on the Thursday before every PPV. With Freevee no longer an option, we’d like to align fully with Amazon Prime’s global social media platforms.”

• Amazon VP of Sports Originals: “So the idea is to treat The Road To like a live social event — a global stream across Amazon’s socials?”

2. Revised Distribution Plan

NWPW COO:
• The Road To airs live on Amazon Prime’s official YouTube, X, TikTok, and Twitch channels.
• Immediate replay available worldwide.
• Acts as a gateway event into PPV weekend, tied directly to PrimeAccess and Face/Off.
• Each episode branded as The Road To: [PPV Name].

Amazon Head of Social Content:
• “We like this. Streaming natively on socials gives us instant reach, plus interactivity — live chat, fan polls, Q&A.”
• Suggest layering in live watch party reactions and interactive features (Twitter polls, Twitch questions).

3. Content Breakdown

2-hour format includes:
• Main Event Focus → Deep dive on the World Title match.
• Co-Main Features → Profiles on other two championship bouts.
• Face/Off Replay/Tease → Highlights from PrimeAccess confrontation.
• Training Camp Exclusives → Mini-documentary packages.
• Live Studio Elements → Analysts breaking down keys to victory.

4. Amazon Feedback

Amazon VP of Sports Originals:
• “This pivot is strong. The social-first model fits how younger fans consume.
• We can cross-promote through Prime Video with trailers and bonus footage, but keep the core show free on socials.”

Amazon Head of Marketing:
• “The branding works — a global countdown streamed everywhere. We’ll push #TheRoadTo as the campaign hashtag leading into each PPV.”

5. Action Points

✅ NWPW to deliver first Road To: WrestleKingdom episode template by Nov 2025.
✅ Amazon to confirm technical distribution strategy across YouTube, Twitch, IG Live, X, and TikTok.
✅ Joint marketing campaign to launch Dec 2025.

Meeting Itinerary - Talks with NOAH and AJPW about long term strategic partnership / takeover

Initial Proposal for Seaport Entertainment Group acquisition of Pro-Wrestling NOAH and All Japan Pro-Wrestling.

From
: New World Pro-Wrestling Executive Board
To: Executives of Pro Wrestling NOAH and All Japan Pro Wrestling
Date: 10th September 2025

Introduction

New World Pro-Wrestling (NWPW), with the backing of Seaport Capital and Pershing Square Capital Management, has successfully consolidated global wrestling assets into a single, world-class organization. With the NWA and NJPW already unified under the NWPW banner, we now look toward completing the Japanese wrestling landscape by bringing Pro Wrestling NOAH and All Japan Pro Wrestling into our fold.

This is not simply a financial acquisition — it is an opportunity to preserve, honor, and elevate your legacies within a unified global platform.

Vision

Our model is inspired by the success of the UFC in combat sports: one league, one system, one set of records. The future of professional wrestling will not be fragmented into smaller promotions but streamlined into a single undisputed home of strong style.

By consolidating NOAH and AJPW into NWPW:

  • No secondary leagues diluting competition.
  • Every match matters, with win/loss records tracked globally.
  • Athletes elevated onto a world stage with Amazon Prime and Amazon Free distribution.

Legacy Preservation

We understand the historic weight of both NOAH and AJPW. While the promotions will formally cease independent operations, we commit to:

  • Maintaining archive libraries of NOAH and AJPW events, accessible worldwide via Amazon Prime.
  • Producing original content honoring milestone anniversaries and legendary figures.
  • Inclusion of AJPW/NOAH stars into a potential NWPW Hall of Fame.
  • Cross-integration into merchandise, documentaries, and video game content.

Your histories will remain celebrated, not erased.

Athlete Pathway & Development

NOAH and AJPW rosters will be fully absorbed into NWPW contracts. To strengthen our development structure:

  • Select Dojos in Tokyo, Osaka, and Hiroshima will be branded as NWPW Legacy Training Centers, integrating NOAH and AJPW coaching philosophies into our global dojo system.
  • Talents not yet main-roster ready will have structured progression through NWPW’s developmental platforms (including NXT/GEN, launching 2026).

Financial Framework

  • Acquisition: NWPW will assume full ownership of all contracts, media rights, and assets.
  • Capital Backing: Seaport/Pershing Capital funding ensures stability and growth.
  • Revenue Expansion: Integration guarantees wider monetization opportunities through:
  • Global broadcast (Amazon Prime/Free).
  • Licensing and merchandise.
  • Video game integration (Konami’s Strong Style 26).

This is not a cost-cutting merger — it is a growth-driven acquisition aimed at expanding market share and athlete visibility.

Conclusion

The Japanese wrestling industry has been defined by NJPW, NOAH, and AJPW. By uniting them under NWPW, we are creating the most powerful, credible, and globally recognized strong style platform in history.

This is an opportunity for your athletes, your legacies, and your fans to join a global stage where professional wrestling is presented with realism, prestige, and unity.

We invite you to move forward together and cement the future of wrestling under one banner: New World Pro-Wrestling.
