    Oh, that's very cool. It was their breakthrough album, made them college radio darlings and got them signed to a major label deal. Bill, the lead singer/guitarist wrote the history of The Cars that came out a couple of months ago. I have yet to read it, but The Cars are one of my favorite bands.

    Genius is a term thrown around too often, so let's say they were ahead of their time. The harmonies and layers of instruments build great songs. The main problem is, nobody knew what to do with them in the early 90's or even really to this day.
