He's only played 2 games , won as scum with me and was town last game. Top 3 in post counts usually, as town was all over the place. As scum I felt he hid , fluffed and tried to blend more. A few other tells I'll keep under my hat as it requires a full phase to look at.

His read posts seems like a possible adjustment

I'm concerned about Sky's read on troop I'll get to it soon hopefully , catching up on mobile is annoying

But she hosted 2 games with troop who was a Debbie Downer as the start of both and both cases made excuses for not being able to play or wtv. He was town in both cases and a mislynch target from scum both times early on.



(I reserve the right to read troop scum at any time I just remember seeing a sky post and hated her reasoning )

Town!Brett feels like a little less of an aggressor, he was pushing things harder as scum (you've kind of got to if you want to pull of the audacious plan of quickhammering a claimed cop with a redcheck on your mate)

He pushed things hard in desperation and in scum chat but in thread he was mostly a big coward, hyper focusing on single things and then dipping.

As town he threw his vote around everywhere

I gotta wait for my lord and savior Jean Francois to come thru to start picking through some stuff before I start feeling confident on some reads.

The gimmick could be argued as cute. Although, Brett hiding behind Jeff during games is a great tactic if he were to roll mafia again as. "But Im clueless town. Believe me." Was understandable to post in the last game, but Brett and Jeff were both town last game so this post sort of feels weird.

But while we're here.

Troop:
Has apologized for a few jokes so far. It's super early in the game, so it very well could be him just playing things careful to not piss anyone off as town. But also gives some scum energy as far as like oh no I want to play with the town folk, but not too much where I start getting eyes on me. Playing that sort of middle of the fence kind of vibe

Booty:
Really nothing too different than the start of his first game. He was town that game, too early to just cross that off for that reason, but something to be mindful of.

Smark:
Super excited and giddy to be here. I was first reading it as a potential like excited cuz he's scum kind of energy, but I think Smark is smart enough to know that if he grabbed scum as a role to not be like super over-the-top with shit. That's why to me I'm reading it very much so as town and just excitement to play the game.

Sky and Avie:
One message that was vague and mysterious, I'd consider it to be null though, obv late for Sky and Avie I don't know well enough as far as judging off activity goes.

Juice:
Interesting to state the claim of not playing, feels like covering a bit of his own ass. But I am coming into this game with the mentality of whatever read I have on Juice I am going with the complete opposite.

Null for everyone else because inactivity, but just based on math, one of the inactive peeps are scum. Will be interesting to see how they play as they come in.

A first attempt to move to move out of the fluff stage. Its NIA as the transition from fluff to more serious play eventually has to happen. The only real interesting part is bolded. That isn't how math works LMAO. I mean three mafia could be within Booty, Smark, Troop and Brett. So that was a minor flag on the field for me.

Initially I saw Brett's "Try-hard-post" just as getting into the game during the starting fluff fun period... but thinking about it a bit more, I think, while it is a bit dangerous to do, it could be a neat little scum move.

Bit of spit-balling here...

I mean since the game only started and everyone was still just shit-posting, that post could be seen as the first serious attempt to get the investigations started. Brett gets some opinions out into the wild and could at a later point claim that he was the person, who got the ball rolling, if suspicious eyes are looking at him.

It could also be a Towny trying to force out of fluff

I do see some value in your theory, as I said earlier it COULD be that Brett knows his phase 1 was bad as scum (he was sussed heavily and early prior to me being copped) and is trying to adjust by posting lists before being asked to look more busy.

Or he's just awkward town lol

Considering what time it was. And it was already established by other players it was very early in the morning in UK/Europe, this post comes off as very strange. It also reminds me a bit of last game. I'm not sure if it was Wang or Barry, but there was something one of them said that reminds me of this post.
