I honestly don't know why people are complaining so much. Just listen. Make a few comments about winning or losing. If you dislike a lot of songs, no one actually cares.

Hey if it keeps the conversation going then it’s fine as long as it doesn’t escalate into hurling insults at each other I’m cool with it

I'd rather people critique the music than the stock comments "Good luck this round", "Almost got the win", "Guess this wasn't my round" "Good game" etc. that are made in every thread and mean nothing in my eyes. :lol

I mean I agree. If people are going to critique. Actually offer something juicy.

To each their own, I just feel like after 5 years the "good luck" and "good game" are pretty much implied, though maybe I just feel that way because I consider us all pals. :cozy I'll always compliment people's songs when I'm genuinely into them though. Just would be quite boring if all we ever posted were those boring, might as well be automated niceties.

I didn’t like a song this round but still don’t want to be rude and put down the person or their tastes. I know my tastes aren’t the best in the minds of others so I have no room to talk.

I read this as you saying you didn't like a single one of the songs this round at first and I was like damn lol

I find that knowing others don't like stuff that I do like, and knowing that I won't be offended if anyone says they don't like something that I do, empowers me to just be honest when evaluating other people's stuff.

Also I don't think there is any "good" or "bad" taste, every individual has their own taste and it probably contains a spectrum of things that any given other person would find "good" or "bad", but the most important thing is that the individual is true to themselves and doesn't let the tastes of others diminish their enjoyment of what they like.
